IPD management software, also called inpatient management software, runs a hospital's admitted patients from admission to discharge. Lifemaan covers the bed board, doctor rounds, treatment and investigation sheets, nursing notes, vitals, intake-output, surgery records, IPD billing and the discharge summary in one patient file, on a tablet or computer.
Yes. When the nurse marks an injection or IV medicine as given in Lifemaan's treatment sheet, its volume is added to the intake for that hour in the input/output chart. The nurse does not write it a second time, and the intake total and fluid balance update straight away.
The nurse records the drug, the dilution and the rate, such as 10 ml per hour, in Lifemaan's infusion pump sheet. From then, the pump volume is added to the hourly IV intake in the input/output chart automatically until the infusion is stopped, so nobody calculates it from the bag at the end of a shift.
Lifemaan's input/output chart records oral, RT, IV and blood intake and urine, aspirate, drain, vomit and other output for every hour. Total intake, total output and the balance are calculated for each hour and for the day as entries are made, so the doctor sees the patient's fluid balance on the round.
Consultants write daily round notes in Lifemaan's continuity sheet with a pen on a tablet, by typing, or by voice. Each round is time-stamped in the patient's timeline and added to the IPD bill as a consultation, so rounds are not missed when the final bill is prepared.
Yes. Lifemaan's vital sheet records SpO2, CVP, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, temperature and PFR by the hour, and the treatment sheet shows each medicine's set time, actual time and status. Every entry is time-stamped and named, and right-clicking a cell shows its earlier values.
